- Shear Wall incorporating 12.5mm Tiger Glass Rock is used as interior shear walls for conventional wood frame constructions and two-by-four systems.
- Tiger Glass Rock can widely comply with the restriction on interior finish due to its incombustibility.
- No difference in level on the surface of walls can be obtained even if 12.5 mm standard plasterboards are installed in parallel with 12.5 mm Tiger Glass Rock.
- Up to 1 hour quasi-fire resistance can be achieved for both conventional wood frame constructions and two-by-four systems if Tiger Glass Rock is applied to both sides of wall surfaces.
Shear Wall incorporating 12.5mm Tiger Glass Rock has been developed under the leadership of Professor Sakamoto at the Graduate School of Engineering of the University of Tokyo in Japan.
